FAQ

IPTV stands for Internet Protocol Television, which is a technology that delivers television programming over an Internet connection. Instead of using traditional cable or satellite signals, IPTV uses the internet to transmit video and audio content to your TV or device. It typically involves a set-top box or an app that decodes and displays the content on your screen

IPTV offers several advantages, including a wider range of channels and content, interactive features like video-on-demand and catch-up TV, better picture and sound quality when compared to some older cable systems, and the ability to access content on various devices like smartphones, tablets, and computers

The required internet speed for IPTV varies depending on the quality of the content you want to stream. For standard-definition (SD) content, a stable connection with a minimum speed of 2-4 Mbps should suffice. However, for high-definition (HD) or 4K content, you may need a faster connection, typically ranging from 10 Mbps to 25 Mbps or more for a smooth experience.

To use IPTV, you typically need an Internet connection, a compatible device (such as a smart TV, set-top box, smartphone, or computer), and a subscription to an IPTV service.

You don’t necessarily need a specific type of TV to use IPTV. Most modern TVs have HDMI ports, which can be used to connect devices like IPTV set-top boxes. However, if you have an older TV without HDMI support, you may need an adapter or converter to connect the IPTV device.
